In the beginning there was the sound, the word, the song.
Song Of The Spine BoneToner
The BoneTonerTM is an electronic tuning fork that effectively replaces the 12 tuning forks previously used for spinal bone toning. The Song of the Spine BoneToner is manually cycled through each of the resonant frequencies of the vertebrae, allowing the therapist to treat each vertebra of the spine quickly and smoothly.
Once Dr. Wieder completed her research and came up with the resonant frequencies that corresponded with each vertebrae (see The Human Resonator), she began the painstaking task of creating a tunable, hand-held, frequency generator that could replace the entire set of tuning forks used for spinal bone toning. Tuning forks have been effective in restoring the harmonic resonance of the spine, however they are not always the most practical or easiest method for bone toning.
A small LCD screen on the front of the device shows which vertebra the BoneToner is ready to tune. For instance, when the frequency for the Atlas (first cervical vertebra) is being generated, the screen shows C1. The other vertebrae of the cervical spine are depicted as C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, and C7.Similarly, for the thoracic spine, the display shows the individual vertebra as T1 through T12. For the lumbar spine, the individual vertebra are depicted as L1 through L5. The correct frequency is automatically generated for each of the vertebra settings. The therapist can change the setting of the device to allow the selection of a single vertebra, for instance T9 or L4. When a single vertebra setting is selected, the BoneTonerTM generates the appropriate frequency for as long as the user desires, allowing prolonged treatment of that vertebra.
In addition, the device also generates the median frequency for five basic brainwaves: alpha, beta, delta, gamma, and theta. The brainwave vibrations may be applied to the skull to produce a more heightened state and alertness, a relaxed, meditative state, or a sleep-like state, depending on what is desired.

The electronic control box is approximately 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 1 inch deep. The hand-held vibrator is approximately 51/2 inches long and has diameter of about 1 1/8 inches, which makes it easy to hold and manipulate. The vibrator is connected to the control box by a thin, 80-inch cable. The unit is powered by a 9-volt, 300 mA transformer that plugs into a 110-volt source. The connecting 9-volt post measures 5.5 mm OD, 2.1 mm ID, and 12 mm length.
This special offer incudes two books, Song of the Spine and The Human Symphony, Bones & Tones CD, the Bone Torner, and operating instructions

Sound Creates Form
Cymatics is the study of visible sound and vibration.Typically, the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane is vibrated with varying sound frequencies.
